a look back at 2018
2018 started with transition. i moved out of my small studio in the Space 4 Art community in east village where i had been creating my art for three years. i relocated to a larger space in the beautiful campus of the ARTS District Liberty Station. it was an exciting change that had many positive effects on the direction of my art. expanding visibility and creating connections with many ultra-talented individuals.
2018 brought to the gallery, the innovative exhibit, “inside out” featuring the art of Los Angeles fine artist Maria Elena Cruz, the incredible photography of popular San Diego photographer, Paul W. Koester, and the first solo show of metal sculptor, Jonathan Lee Bain, in “blue collar 3d”. it truly was an honor to have the works of these visionary artists on display in 2018. they are exciting creators to watch!
along with the grand opening of Alexia Rose Art, the brightest highlight of 2018, for me, was the inaugural dinner of Palette X. Palette X was my long time dream. to see art on every level joined to extraordinary cuisine inspired by unbridled art, in an exclusive pop up dinner. there are many Palette X dinners to come in 2019- stay tuned!
